AEMs patented Air Bypass Valve virtually eliminates the chance of hydro-lock in the event you submerge the filter of your AEM Cold Air induction system in water. On most systems, the valve installs along the upper portion of the inlet pipe and shuts down induction at the filter when it becomes submerged, rerouting air through its external diaphragm to keep water out and air flowing in. AEM’s Boost Pressure Solenoid is made for industrial applications and is custom designed specifically for automotive boost applications. It will not degrade from rich fuel mixtures like common boost control solenoids, which significantly extends the unit’s life and eliminates the chance of the solenoid sticking from contamination. AEM’s Boost Control Solenoid is pressure tested by the manufacturer to 100 PSI and will not leak. AEM’s FIC is the perfect solution for eliminating outdated FMU’s and “boost hiding” electronics and is ideal for newer cars with knock detection that have non-factory forced induction systems. The FIC is PC programmable and allows users to retard timing and add fuel to virtually any engine, even on variable cam timing engines (VTEC, iVTEC, VVTi, MiVEC, etc.). Since the FIC modifies the factory timing patterns it is not necessary to know them in advance. It eliminates rotor-phasing issues (ignition drift) common to high-performance distributed applications, enabling users to reliably increase power. The EPM provides precise engine position using dual zero-speed optical sensors, which offers the advantage of immediate signal generation regardless of engine speed. This unit allows ECU’s that have a saturated injector drive circuit to trigger low impedance injectors with a true 4/1 Peak & Hold injector drive circuit. AEM’s Peak & Hold Injector Driver contains 10 independent injector drive channels. Each channel supplies full battery voltage to a fuel injector for rapid current rise, in order to produce positive injector opening. When load current reaches 4.1A (amps), the injector driver reduces the load current to 1.1A and operates as a constant current source. This large bore also dampens backpressure pulses created by larger injectors and works perfectly with stock injector sizes. An additional 1/8th NPT port is included to accommodate a nitrous set up or fuel pressure gauge. A custom fuel line fitting is included for the factory fuel line, and the ends of each rail are pre tapped to accept -6 AN or 9/16”x18 fittings for users who want to use custom fuel lines.
